Michel Chapnick, DO

Dr. Michel Chapnick is in practice for more than 20 years. The two things that attracted him to medicine were taking care of people and making them feel better. He also enjoys the intellectual challenge of identifying a problem and finding a solution.

After working in private practice for many years, Dr. Chapnick was attracted to hospitalist medicine because “this remains an exciting field of medicine that has grown exponentially over the last ten years.” He is glad to be part of this new movement in medicine that aims to improve the quality of care that patients receive while in the hospital.

Dr. Chapnick says that the difference between private or community practice and hospitalist medicine, is that a hospitalist is always available in the hospital in case the patient's status suddenly deteriorates. “We offer a continuity of care that is a luxury that a private office doctor can't offer,” says Dr. Chapnick.

Dr. Chapnick is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
