Dr. Guidera is an experienced, board-certified interventional cardiologist who has been performing cardiac catheterization and angioplasty-stenting for over 20 years.  US News & World Report named him a top interventional cardiologist. He performs a high volume of procedures each year including complex coronary procedures and emergency angioplasty to treat heart attacks.  His skills also include peripheral artery interventions including carotid artery stenting, renal artery and lower extremity arterial angioplasty with stenting.  He is also certified and highly experienced with balloon mitral and aortic valvuloplasty. He uses the latest technology to provide state-of-the-art care to his patients.
